International cooperation / internationalization

International cooperation is the most exposed domain in the work of the University, which is most visible internationally. Under the direct authority of the Rector, it is implemented in correlation with the Rector’s Board, the Commission for Science and International Cooperation and the network of faculty E + coordinators, and the logistical support is provided by the administrative staff in charge of international cooperation from the Sector for Teaching, Science and International Cooperation.

Internationalization

Internationalization, in this context, as a priority segment refers to all international activities for establishing and building relations with foreign partner institutions.

Encouraging and promoting the academic and mobility of students for learning and development, participation in international programs, partnerships for educational, scientific research and development projects, but of course especially with a focus on the introduction of international, intercultural, European and global value elements in every aspect of the University.

UKLO international cooperation is realized through the forms of bilateral, multilateral and project activity, centrally and at the level of units, within international projects and programs, such as the most prominent among them, ERASMUS +. The activities in this department are related to the teaching-educational activity through the projects for improvement of the teaching process, but also with the scientific-research, through the international research and projects for the wider community, ie the environment.

UKLO at central and unit level establishes, nurtures and develops partnerships and relations of cooperation with educational institutions, organizations with partners from the immediate environment and beyond, in regional, European and world (through numerous signed agreements), and is a member of associations. and networks that address issues in the field of higher education such as the European University Association (EUA), the Balkan University Association (BUA) and the Agency of Francophone Universities (AUF). He is a signatory to the Charter of Universal Academic Rights and Freedoms – Magna Charta Universitatum.

Cooperation agreements
