University “St Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola is the first and only Macedonian University that receives granting for a project in the frames of European Universities Alliance and this was announced by the EU Delegation in Skopje and the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility.
European Universities Alliances provide opportunities for the new generations of Europeans to study and work in different European countries, in different languages, in a variety of sectors and a selection of academic disciplines. Students are also provided opportunities for obtaining degrees from combined studies organized in more than one European countries eventually resulting in increased employability and competitiveness.
More information about the European Universities Alliances can be found at: https://education.ec.europa.eu/education-levels/higher-education/european-universities-initiative
The granted project has an overall budget of 14 mln Euro and 830,000 Euro is the budget for UKLO over the implementation period of four years. It is very important that the project will support complete digitalization of all processes at UKLO, joint degrees and academic exchange opportunities in the frames of the Alliance. We expect this project, which is the biggest European project implemented at UKLO (and probably among the biggest ones implemented at Macedonian universities) to considerably improve the image of UKLO in the following four years.
