Dear students,

All citizens, including our generation, are in an unenviable situation due to the crisis we are facing. The coronavirus has completely changed the way of life, and thus the way the educational process takes place. The educational process from the amphitheaters has moved to a virtual sphere, which entails a series of additional problems and costs for the students. Reality says that unfortunately some students do not have their own devices that allow regular attendance of lectures and thus do not have equal opportunities with their colleagues.

University Student Assemblies at the Universities “St. Cyril and Methodius ”- Skopje,“ Goce Delchev ”- Stip,“ St. Kliment Ohridski ”- Bitola,“ Mother Teresa ”- Skopje and“ State University ”- Tetovo, believe that all students deserve equal conditions for study, and it is our obligation to provide that. Student solidarity is a virtue and an imperative. We must not allow our colleagues to be left without the opportunity to attend lectures due to their financial situation. In order to overcome the difficulties in attending classes, we start with a program for distribution of electronic devices and high speed internet to students who do not have electronic devices and high speed internet for monitoring instruction.

For the efficient distribution of the devices for monitoring the teaching, it is necessary for every student who needs such a device to apply through the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSccdqtGSCnMJ4yvEwip505yuSRF8bM1bkfk-_7gSNtZ3trMAg/viewform

Once we have gathered the necessary information, we will start with the second phase, ie with the search for devices and their distribution to the students who have applied in this program. The devices that students will receive temporarily will need to be returned after the end of the semester. Additionally, we will provide fast and stable internet connection for students who do not have it.

We ask you to share this call with all your colleagues. Student solidarity will help us overcome this crisis. We must not allow our colleagues to lag behind in teaching just because they do not have equal financial opportunities. We have to help each other, we have to overcome this crisis together, so that we can share the beautiful moments that will follow after it ends.

Student greetings!
